NITRO NITROGEN GENERATOR

Oxygen out.
A complete cure in.

On‑demand nitrogen from your lab's compressed air, flooding the PRODEX 53 curing chamber automatically — for tack‑free, fully cured 3D‑printed restorations without a single gas cylinder.

Oxygen is the last thing standing between a print and a finished part

During light post‑curing, oxygen reacts with the free radicals that drive polymerisation. At the surface oxygen wins, leaving a tacky, under‑cured layer with lower hardness and more unreacted monomer. Nitro replaces the air in the chamber with nitrogen and removes the problem at its source.

CURING IN AIR

O₂ O₂ O₂ O₂

Sticky, under‑cured surface

  • Extra cleaning or glycerine barriers needed
  • Lower surface hardness and degree of conversion
  • More residual monomer where patients make contact

CURING UNDER NITRO

N₂ N₂ N₂ N₂

Tack‑free, fully cured surface

  • Clean surface straight out of the chamber
  • Higher degree of conversion and surface hardness
  • Reduced cytotoxicity and better colour stability in published studies

From compressed air to an inert chamber in four steps

Air in

Connect the lab's compressed air line to AIR IN. Required supply: [6–9 bar, > 20 L/min].

Filter

The inlet filter strips oil, water and particles before separation, protecting the unit and your parts.

Separate & store

Membrane separation splits out nitrogen and buffers it in an internal tank, ready for each cycle.

Flood & cure

PRODEX 53 purges its chamber with nitrogen automatically at the start of every nitrogen cure profile.

Your own nitrogen supply, wherever there's compressed air

Most dental labs already run a compressor. Nitro turns that air into a steady nitrogen supply and removes the cost and logistics of high‑pressure bottles.

What the research says

Independent studies consistently link nitrogen post‑curing to better surface and biological properties. Bulk strength depends mostly on resin and printer, so we don't claim more than the evidence shows.

Denture bases

Higher conversion, surface hardness and biocompatibility, without impairing mechanical properties.

Printed crowns

Nitrogen‑saturated post‑curing may raise conversion and improve colour stability.

Oxygen concentration

Lowering chamber oxygen by nitrogen injection changed material performance across cure times.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own compressor?

Yes. Nitro separates nitrogen from compressed air, so it needs a supply of [__–__ bar, > __ L/min]. Most lab compressors meet this; dry, oil‑free air extends filter life.

Can I still use nitrogen cylinders?

PRODEX 53 accepts nitrogen from either source. Nitro simply removes the need to buy, swap and store bottles.

What maintenance does it need?

Replace the inlet filter every [__ months / __ hours] and keep the air supply drained of condensate. No other routine service is required.

Is the oxygen‑rich exhaust safe in a closed room?

[Describe exhaust handling and ventilation guidance from the IFU.]

Does nitrogen work with every resin?

Nitrogen benefits the free‑radical photopolymer resins used in dentistry. Always follow the resin maker's post‑curing instructions; PRODEX 53's open library includes nitrogen profiles for supported resins.
