FIND YOUR LIGHT

Start with how you work, not with the spec sheet

Every LEDEX light uses a genuine optical‑fibre light guide, overheat protection, last‑setting memory and auto sleep. What changes is power, wavelength, modes and charging — pick the card that sounds like your practice.

IN EVERY LEDEX

Built the same way, whichever model you choose

Genuine optical‑fibre light guide

Real optical fibre, not acrylic, minimises light loss from source to tip for the highest possible intensity at the light guide tip.

Overheat protection

A high‑efficiency heat sink, thermal protection circuit and safety mode keep the light from overheating.

Remembers your last setting

The mode and curing time you used last are memorised automatically, so you pick up where you left off.

Automatic sleep

The handpiece sleeps when it is not in use, saving battery and extending use time between charges.

Frequently asked questions

Which LEDEX is best for orthodontic bonding?

WL-070+ ORTHO is built for it, with a 1,400 mW/cm² Ortho mode and 4, 5 or 6‑second cycles. WL-090 and WL-090+ add a Fast Ortho mode (1,800 mW/cm², 3–5 s repeated 10 times), and on WL-120 the ortho cycles can be set in every curing mode.

Do I need a broadband 390–480 nm light?

WL-090+ and WL-120 add a 405 nm peak alongside 460 nm, making them especially suited to materials using phenyl propanedione (PPD) or Lucirin TPO photoinitiators. Check your material's instructions for its recommended curing wavelength.

How do I check the light output?

Every model except WL-070 has a built‑in radiometer. Hold the light guide on the sensor and switch the light on to read the intensity. If Standard mode reads below 700 mW/cm², contact your dealer.

Which light guides fit which model?

The WL-070 series ships with a Ø8 mm guide; WL-090, WL-090+ and WL-120 with a Ø11 > 8 mm guide, and a Ø11 > 5 mm guide is listed for WL-090+. Tapered, shortened and straight optical‑fibre guides are available — ask your dealer which fit your model.

What colours are available?

WL-070 comes in white, black, orange, blue, green, pink and yellow. WL-070+ and WL-070+ ORTHO come in white, black, orange, blue, green, red and purple, with a matching charging stand.

Can the battery be replaced?

Yes. The Li‑ion batteries are consumables and are sold as spare parts for every model. Replace the battery when use time drops noticeably or high‑output modes such as Turbo and Plasma become hard to run.

How do I prevent cross‑infection?

Cover the handpiece with a disposable sleeve for every patient and discard it afterwards — sleeves must not be reused. Sleeves are available for the WL-070 series, for WL-090 / WL-090+ / WL-120, and for the Ø8 mm light guide.
