The LEDEX WL-120 is the fastest light in the LEDEX dental curing range. It cures 2 mm of composite in a single second at 3,200 mW/cm², and it weighs only 153 g.
Full power in a lighter body
In Plasma mode, the WL-120 delivers 3,200 mW/cm² in 1, 2, 3 or 4-second cycles. This is the same peak output as our WL-090, in a handpiece that is about 27 g lighter. For everyday restorations, Standard mode runs at 1,000 mW/cm² from 5 to 40 seconds.
Broadband light for modern materials
A 10 W broadband LED covers 390–480 nm, with peaks at 405 nm and 460 nm. The 405 nm peak reaches PPD and TPO photoinitiators as well as standard 460 nm materials, so you don’t need to check which initiator each product uses.
Seven modes, one handpiece
- Low (600 mW/cm²): tooth and composite resin
- Ramp (1,000 mW/cm²): wide areas of composite, to limit shrinkage
- Standard (1,000 mW/cm²): most cases
- High (1,800 mW/cm²): orthodontic and paediatric dentistry
- Turbo (2,400 mW/cm²) and Plasma (3,200 mW/cm²): cement, porcelain veneers and fibre posts
- White light (up to 11,100 lux): for seeing root canal orifices, crown and root fractures, and caries
Ortho curing cycles are available in every curing mode.
Built to be checked
A built-in radiometer measures output for 5, 8 and 11 mm light guides, so you can confirm the light is working at full intensity. The handpiece charges on a wireless stand and runs for about 90 minutes per charge (540 × 10-second Standard cycles).
Like every LEDEX light, the WL-120 has a genuine optical-fibre light guide, overheat protection, last-setting memory and automatic sleep.
